In November 2021, the kW Technology team assisted Yuandong Xinchuang in successfully implementing a smart energy project with the No. 1 Department Store of Shanghai Department Store. This project monitors the energy consumption of each electrical circuit, calculating the power consumption of high-voltage systems, air conditioning, lighting, and other power sources, enabling power safety early warnings and online energy management. In the future, it can also connect to other energy sources within the building, such as water, gas, and heat, to achieve a unified digital energy monitoring service. The aim is to improve the efficiency of enterprise energy management while reducing energy costs, helping enterprises achieve real-time carbon emission calculations, connecting with various carbon neutrality solutions, assisting customers in their zero-carbon green transformation, and fulfilling their social responsibility for sustainable development.

No.1 Department Store

Project Overview

This project utilizes a smart IoT platform to achieve online monitoring, tracking, statistics, and energy consumption analysis of key energy consumption and carbon emissions at the Shanghai No. 1 Department Store.Through the smart energy platform, the store's energy metering system accurately records incoming and outgoing circuits based on the store's electricity usage structure. Statistical analysis helps the store clarify detailed energy consumption, making energy consumption visible and eliminating blind spots. Simultaneously, based on the storage of collected energy consumption data, visual charts are generated, providing data support for the store's energy conservation and performance evaluation, and diagnosing high-energy-consuming points. Managers can also collect data through the system and conduct targeted year-on-year and month-on-month analyses of each circuit. Through one-stage analysis, high-energy-consuming points can be identified, reducing costs and saving energy. In this project, the kW Technology IoT platform, through its AI analysis engine, identifies potential correlations between various big data points, improving security, enhancing quality, predicting equipment failure cycles and lifespan, and analyzing power quality parameters such as harmonics, three-phase imbalance, and power factor through platform data analysis. The platform's 3D and 2D display interfaces improve energy quality and management quality. This will help Shanghai No. 1 Department Store identify carbon emission sources, monitor and issue early warnings for carbon emissions, and rationally manage key energy consumption. Ultimately, this will help Shanghai No. 1 Department Store increase the proportion of renewable energy generation and facilitate its digital and low-carbon transformation.
